SDMEA seeking Director of Municipal Electric Services

South Dakota Municipal Electric Association is seeking applicants for the position of Director of Municipal Electric Services. Duties include providing association director services to SD municipalities which own and operate their electric utilities.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, interest in lobbying, and demonstrate an enthusiasm for topics related to municipal electric utilities. Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in political science, public or business administration, communications or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
