Heartland Energy is a public power company providing affordable, reliable energy solutions as well as economic development programs to cities and state institutions in South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa and Nebraska. Who We Serve
Heartland provides wholesale electric energy to municipal electric systems in South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa and Nebraska. We also provide energy solutions to six public institutions in South Dakota and have a unit contingent contracted requirement with a cooperative association in Iowa.
