Heartland is excited to announce the hiring of Kelly Dybdahl as customer relations manager. Dybdahl brings with him 12 years of experience working in the utility industry.

Kelly Dybdahl joined Heartland as customer relations manager January 7

“We are excited to welcome Kelly and look forward to him meeting all our customers,” said Heartland CEO Russell Olson. “His background and knowledge will prove valuable in this position.”

Dybdahl will take over for Steve Moses upon his retirement at the end of March. He will work alongside Moses until then, visiting customers and getting acquainted with his new role and responsibilities.

A native of Tyler, Minnesota, Dybdahl previously worked as an electrical engineer for Lyon-Lincoln Electric Cooperative. He worked in a variety of roles in that position including safety, rate design, strategic planning, metering and more.

“I look forward to putting my past experiences to work helping customers overcome any challenges they may face,” said Dybdahl.

Dybdahl earned his electrical engineering degree from the Milwaukee School of Engineering in 2006 and became a Certified Energy Manager in 2011.

In Tyler, Dybdahl was a member of the community golf board and volunteer fire department and coached youth basketball and t-ball. In his free time he enjoys hunting, fishing, sports and lake activities.

Dybdahl and his wife Kimberly relocated to Madison along with their three daughters Kamryn, age 9, Kenley, 8, and Khloe, 6. Kimberly is relocating her clothing boutique from Tyler to Madison and is expanding her business by adding home decor.

“Coming from a Heartland customer community, I look forward to working with and supporting customers any way I can,” said Dybdahl. “I’m excited for this opportunity.”
