Get ready for Cybersecurity Awareness Month

Planning for Cybersecurity Awareness Month starts now.

The National Cybersecurity Alliance (NCA) is offering free resources to plan your cyber awareness activities before October arrives.

Organizations are invited to pre-register as Cybersecurity Awareness Month Champions to receive a free comprehensive toolkit, launching later this month.

The toolkit includes ready-to-use social media graphics, newsletter articles, printable tip sheets, videos, press release templates and more. These resources make it easy to share cybersecurity best practices with your audience across different platforms throughout October.

NCA will also host a webinar introducing their 2026 Cybersecurity Awareness Month campaign. Attendees will get a preview of this year’s theme, learn what’s new in the toolkit and receive practical ideas for creating a successful local campaign.

Cybersecurity remains a top priority for public power utilities and local governments.

Whether you’re participating for the first time or looking to build on previous efforts, becoming a Champion is an easy way to support cybersecurity education and encourage safer online practices in your community.
