Casey Crabtree
Director of Economic Development
Crabtree leads the efforts to attract new businesses and encourage existing businesses to expand in Heartland Energy’s customer communities. He oversees the economic development programs including grants, energy incentives and revolving loan funds to facilitate growth in the region. Crabtree holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Northern State University, has served in the South Dakota State Senate since 2020 and graduated from the Leadership South Dakota program in 2017.
